About Us

Wineworks of Australia was established in 2004 by one of Australia’s best known winemakers, Simon Gilbert. Simon recognised a need for quality custom winemaking services, and drawing on his many years of experience in the contract winemaking business, developed the company to cater to the needs of the many premium wine producers in the Mudgee/Orange and surrounding areas.

Wineworks has established a custom crush service that includes winemaking and storage facilities in Mudgee, NSW. The wine is made under the direct supervision of Simon Gilbert, using the state of the art facilities at selected wineries in Mudgee.

Wineworks has since grown to incorporate wine export and wine brokering as important aspects of the business.
